"As a really sociable person, I was so hoping the move to Devon last summer to be near my daughter would mean I could meet new friends. Sadly with the pandemic I haven't had the chance to meet people in person yet, but the Young At Heart Club has been a lifeline with the Tuesday telephone ChitChat. I really can't wait to finally enjoy the company of my new friends in person. Thank you for making me feel so welcome"
Club members join the ChitChat sessions each week. They can have a laugh and share stories and memories with each other and enjoy playing a game of YAHBO!( which is a unique form of bingo)with other club members. it is the perfect way to tackle isolation during the pandemic lockdown! Yet another great service provided by the team at the Young at Heart Club.
In addition to the popular ChitChat sessions the The Young at Heart Club introduced a FREE monthly NEWSLETTER to help members keep in touch and tackle loneliness and isolation, during a worrying time.
